ECM Infrastructure Review and Planning

The main objective of this engagement is to evaluate the various system configuration settings to ensure that all standard base requirements have been met and to identify operating system or application settings that may need site specific adjustments.
Upon completion, the settings and configurations document may serve as a baseline guide for IT operations staff supporting these systems. The following set of activities with be carried out in detail as part of this engagement:

  • Review existing system infrastructure from enterprise point of view, software’s stack used such as OS, WebServer, Cross Platform integrations etc.
  • Evaluate the various system configuration settings to ensure that all standard base requirements have been met.
  • Validate ECM/BPM solution architecture against industry best practices, taxonomy design, integration with third party applications & its impacts on current solution.
  • Finally come up with an Audit Assessment report, which serve as a baseline guide for IT operations staff supporting these systems. This review may provide matter for future Disaster Recovery, High Availability or Business Continuity plans.

Optionally, as part of the review, we can collect and outline a support model and plan for optimum IT operations, infrastructure planning and support. This will help the client develop ECM best practices for the key operational and support activities.
